I do not know what mailing lists we ended up on, but we receive quite a few random notepads in the mail. Even though pen and paper are my preferred way of making lists and taking notes there are too many notepads for me to use anytime soon.
I love pretty much all types of paper crafts and have taught classes in quilling, origami, papermaking, card making, painting on rice paper, collage and the list goes on.
For a long time I have been interested in making small books. These scrap notepads are perfect for me to recycle and practice my book binding techniques.
This is my first stitched one. I arranged the note paper so the book contains alternating blank spreads and decorated spreads. The cover is cut from red cardstock.
The cover design is from another project that I recently painted using an old icing container to make circles with acrylic and watercolor paints onto watercolor paper.
Now I get to decide how to fill the pages. I think it might be a good place to collect my favorite book quotations.
