Sometimes it can be a challenge to think of practical small gift items to make with fabric remnants. I have this wonderfully colorful fabric left over from a potholder project.
This sewing project started out as a reversible eyeglass case practical and useful with a ribbon to tie it closed. After I completed the pouch I noticed that my phone fits in it perfectly!! I love it when I find multiple uses for an item, especially being reversible.
Needless to say, this one has found its way into my purse as a phone case. Now I need to make another one for my eyeglasses and I will be making a few more to give as gifts.
