Collaged tags

Of these collaged tags the vintage style tags are some of my favorites. These tags are larger than the usual business card size ones I make. The versatility and ease of making collaged tags results in my having an ample supply of them on hand ready to be added to cards or used as actual gift tags.  Additionally, the small compact size makes them perfect for experimenting with various art supplies in small batches.  Tag collage is also a nice starting point for layered projects.

When using the tag as a card topper I prefer to loosely attach the tag so the recipient can remove it to use as a bookmark.  This is especially nice when the tag includes an uplifting quote or affirmation for the recipient to refer back to regularly.

This one with the ladies pushing the car fits the caption. I added various die cuts and an encouraging message. My intention when I gifted it was for the recipient to use it as a bookmark so the button type letter sticker adds dimension without bulkiness. The ladies appear to be having fun.

These ladies are displaying a different type of teamwork, shopping! Added die cuts add a little bit of dimension. So much fun to go shopping with good friends.

This tag I also kept loosely attached to the greeting card so it can be removed. In addition to the paper scraps I also added lace for more texture.

As you can see the messages on your collaged tags can be applied to a variety of occasions.

These small collage tags are a good way to use your smaller paper, ribbon, lace and magazine scraps.  For the verbiage you can computer print or cut your words from old magazines.  Rubber stamps and stickers also work well to add you message.

Let me know how your projects are going.
