It’s that time again. Baseball fun with co-workers. It is good to go back to the ball park. The weather was perfect. I love the bright green and red clay contrasting colors of the field and our beautiful skyline.
Preparing the field before the game. Lots to do. We are early so the seats are rather empty. We had a wonderful variety of food to keep up our cheering energy throughout the game. I also had plenty of desserts.Baseball fun begins! As the sun sets the skyline seems to glow. I was wrapped up in watching the game and missed taking a picture of the darkening sky.The give-away this time is a bobble head. We also had plenty of snacks including Cracker Jack and salted peanuts. However, even though the package labels Cracker Jack as “the original” it does not taste like the Cracker Jack I had growing up many years ago. Perhaps, they mean it is the original name.
Have you noticed the same thing when you eat something that you haven’t tried since childhood? Moon pies are another one for me. I remember they were called scooter pies. So, I do not know if the product itself has changed or if my taste buds changed, but some snacks from childhood are definitely different as an adult.
What were some of your favorite snacks? I hope you are enjoying a fun end of spring and ready for a wonderful summer.
