Halloween treat bags

It does not seem as if it has been a year already since the last time I was preparing Halloween treat bags to give away at work.  At first this year I decided to go low sugar.  However, mini cupcakes sounded like a fun idea and also some small chocolates.

There is a small cardboard cupcake holder in the bottom of the treat bags to make them stable enough to stand upright. A good idea because I will not be able to tie the bags closed. The little holders also keep everything together nicely.

I am including a few other ideas for filling your Halloween treat bags that also work well as party favors.  Once you select a theme the little stuffers are easier to select.

Halloween manicure set
Time for a pedicure with toe separators, nail polish and a few nail files.
eye mask treat bag
A relaxing evening can be helped along with an eye mask, a tube of lotion and some eye cream.
lip balm treats
With the colder weather coming soon lip balms and lip glosses are a fun way moisturize. A hand lotion also is a nice addition.
post it notes
A treat bag for the teacher post-it notes, pens, pencils, tape and some fun paperclips.

There are also all the usual Halloween treat bag stuffers, cookies, candy, small toys and such. And of course, chocolate tends to be a very welcomed addition.

For your snack loving friends how about a small assortment of nuts and breakfast cookies.

These same themes and ideas also work well year-round if you need stocking stuffer or Easter basket ideas.  You can use them for hostess gifts too.

What do you like to put in your treat bags?  Are you looking for theme ideas?  Drop a comment and let me know.

Have a fun and safe Halloween.
