handmade cards, watercolor greeting cards,

Sushi Party

It’s a sushi party!  Family time is the best time especially if it includes a birthday celebration. Our sushi party was last month.  I call it that because the guest of honor loves sushi and the location was his choice.  The restaurant also offers non-sushi selections.

I am not a fan of sushi so I enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was perfect.  Another non-sushi fan had the grilled chicken plate.

I enjoy seeing the different designs the sushi maker creates. It is edible artwork on a plate, so many colors and textures.

I do not remember what each selection is called so am not able to caption the photos with the actual type of sushi roll it is.

This was an interesting arrangement.

These slices lay flat rather than on their side.

I was told this one is yummy. It certainly looks nice.
I do not remember the ingredients of the sushi selections. However, I do remember the dessert, fried sandwich cookies with ice cream and chocolate sauce.

After writing this I looked up the menu on-line to see if that will help me.  But, they do not have photos next to the food descriptions so here we are, enjoying the nameless photos.

You can visit my Facebook and Instagram sites to see our other food selections.

The card shown above came in a watercolor kit. The design is printed on heavy weight watercolor paper. After painting it, I decided it is the perfect birthday card for a sushi foodie.

We had a wonderful family time, we ate, laughed and ate some more.  I love to celebrate. Be sure to take time to celebrate your life as much as possible.  It is a gift.
