Three techniques for your handmade thank you cards. Handmade cards are one of my favorite projects. I am beginning 2026 with gratitude for family and friends. Actually, we also began the year with eating out, movies and meeting at farmer’s market. However, I was busy eating and enjoying family time and completely forgot to photograph our adventures. Maybe next time.
Now I get to make multiple thank you cards to acknowledge family and friends for their thoughtfulness. This is especially fun because I am combining the new supplies I received this year with my current stash. The patterned papers for all of these cards were given to me as a Christmas gift. The sheets are a perfect size for card making.

I hope this gives you ideas for your own handmade thank you cards and any theme you enjoy making. Additionally, you can cut magazine images if you do not have die cuts. Washi tape works well for the borders as do strips of magazine pages. The possibilities are numerous.
Be sure to experiment with the supplies you already have on hand. Most of all, have fun. Enjoy the process.
Leave a comment if you have questions about specific themes you would like to explore in your art and craft projects.
Have an amazing new year.
