Halloween Mummy Card

I discovered a while ago that if I use my egg stamp upside down it very much resembles a mummy face.  It is always exciting to find multiple ways to use one stamp.
To make this one I used white embossing powder to make the “face” image stand out on the black background.  I stamped a separate face image to make the top section. I layered a scrap of tack cloth, the stamped image, and ‘flames’ patterned paper to make the topper piece.  It is attached to the stamped background with orange brads.  Then the entire piece is attached to a blank card with double sided tape.  I used a little strip of the ‘flames’ paper along the edge to add a bit of color.
For added texture and a bit of whimsy, wiggle eyes can be added to the faces. Once the cards are completed it is time for a  Halloween chocolate snack
