This is the technique I referred to in my last post for quick and easy handmade cards. I find it to be relaxing because I am not a ‘stay-in-the-lines’ type of person. It is time to turn on the music, brew the tea and enjoy doodle time.

Originally I only drew around the foreground egg images. However, as you can see, I changed my mind.

The verbiage on the cards is rubber stamped on deli paper.
When you have wide open designs like this you can also add squiggles, circles or lines within the images. I chose to leave the eggs as they are. Though I might try that idea on my next batch of cards.
If you do not have fine line pens you can use a regular pen, colored pencils or markers. This technique can be applied to wrapping paper, magazine pages or your painting practice papers.
Have fun with your doodles; outline various images, add swirls, dots and lines. Make it your own pattern.
The lines do not have to be straight. There are no rules; just have fun and relax.
