An easy technique for Easter cards. Actually for any cards you enjoy making. The images shown here are cut from my practice papers. Sometimes I do not like the background of a painting. Or, I accidentally drop paint/ink where I do not want it. I save all practice papers to repurpose in other projects.
As noted in previous posts, I am not a fan of fussy cutting; though I think it works well for this project.

I enjoyed matching the random background to the painted images. The downside is that when I have the background paper pattern I am very happy with, it’s not something I can duplicate. Well, I can duplicate it if I make a copy. The upside is that I always have something unique to work with.
You can use magazine cutouts if you do not paint your own images. I am also working on another set of Easter cards for my next post. They are made with doodles on patterned paper.
Have fun creating in your own special way and save your practice papers. Besides being useful for future projects, your practice papers show how you have progressed through the creative process.
